“ Another first and great dinning experience. The pork chops was season just right, but a tad bit dry which I switched out for some fish which was awesome. The service was a little slow, but that's because it was a full house. You can always tell the Essence of a place when you see others having a great time and enjoying the food. It had a nice restaurant and sports bar vibe, which was a plus for me. The only thing I had a problem with was the parking, but that will not take away the the great time I had. Alonzo 2022 ”
“ JP Top Mix is a whole vibe, especially Sunday brunches. We normally sit at the bar but for Mother's Day 05/11/25 we sat at the high tops by the bar and the server Yesse was amazing and attentive. and sweet. Highly recommended if you love Hispanic food and the drinks are amazing. ”

“ I came here for my Birthday lunch and it was the best choice ever. A warm friendly hostess and bartender provided me awesome VIP service. As for the food, perfectly tender marinated steak tips, mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus...wow, so tasty and nicely plated. I even got a Pineapple burger to go and they wonderfully replaced the fries with more tasty vegetables. And they surprised me with a delicious dessert and lit candle. This place has a relaxing cool vibes, is stylish and a true Jamaica Plain restaurant gem. Highly recommended for any occasion. Come enjoy yourself! ”
